Finally ordered my mini mill, aeropress from amazon; should come in next week. Now, where to get coffee?

Finally ordered my "intro package" into the world of coffee. Now, where do I get coffee and how should I go about obtaining it?

Should I do my own roasts? I've read about home roasting, using a popcorn popper, prefferably a poppery 2 from what i've read but I feel like its a bit advanced for me.

I've also looked for coffee roasters around the area through yelp and found Cafe Moto and Cafe Virtuoso which is about 6 miles out

Also, any suggestion on which beans to get?
