Why I love my PS3

So I've been trying to get into PC gaming for a while now after hearing constantly on reddit about how great it is and how it can allow me to play many games I'm interested in. For Christmas my parents got me a graphics card, a power supply, several games, and helped me upgrade our computer to be game-worthy. Yet it wouldn't work. Games crashed it. Help online was scattered and there were so many different things that could have gone wrong that it would take someone who was a skilled tech person to simply tell people online what was happening, let alone fix it. I wasted most of my last few days trying to solve the problem, as well as much of my mom's time (she's an IT, figured she could help, even she didn't know)

Meanwhile I booted up my PS3 earlier which let me install a new game in a few minutes and let me play all I wanted. This is why I will always prefer consoles to PC, even IF i get the PC fixed. PCs expect you to understand the ins and outs of the system while the consoles let me do whatever I need without any questions. The playstation just let me pop Assassin's Creed in and after pressing "yes" when it asked to install I was playing and happily enjoying gaming again.

now, this isn't a "I hate PC, blah blah blah" type deal, and I realize that this is likely an isolated incident, but it did help me realize the appreciation I have for my trusty old playstation, as well as a reason for why I will always recommend the Playstation over PC to friends who aren't particularly tech savvy, and even those who are. It is a piece for everyone.

Edit: Ok, since this seems to be getting some attention let me please just clear this up. This post was done while I was very tired and angry after getting error messages on things I didn't know about all day. I do not think PCs are bad. I do not think PS3s are better. I personally like my PS3 more is all because it allows me to game with ease. I am interested in learning more about these systems, yet many of you think because I don't know this already I am a fool. Everything is a good console, I am currently working with a very kind redditor trying to fix the error in the PC. this wasn't meant to be hateful, but after reading it now it comes across as such and I want to apologize for it.
