If you submitted an engagement photo...

I know this probably won't receive a lot of attention or upvotes. It's a throwaway, who cares.

If you made an engagement thread, awesome. I love to think about weddings and marriage. I like romantic stories that make me go "aww". I like looking at jewelry. It's fun. I think most of TwoX things so too, or else you wouldn't have hit front page.

Don't even begin to try to tell me that people being giddy about such things are being anti-feminist. Not all women are into it, but obviously some FUCKING ARE. Big deal.

So ignore the people bitching about it. Or the people who say "who cares about your ring". Who cares about who cares, eh?

This is just my opinion. That's it. But when I get on TwoX, I see a lot of serious posts. I see posts about rape, abuse, negative body image, human trafficking, depression, sexism, reproductive rights...and many more. There is often no shortage of serious topics.

So after reading an article about child labor or a woman's account of her traumatic abortion...it's nice to see a fucking ring.
