Advice on closing after two far apart dates

Alright so I was at a huge football game earlier this year (Gators vs Bama) was drunk, saw a 7.5 in front of me and decided to talk to her a bit. Ended up being from my hometown, told her I was hungry and if she wanted to go grab some expensive stadium food. She said "I'm not hungry but I'll come with you!" when we came back I got her to leave her friends and sit with me. Got her number. About a week later she texts me to hang out, I say I'm busy text me tomorrow. She does, and I set up a time and date. That day comes and I pick her up, and we end up going to a frozen yogurt place (we paid our own bills) a short walk from her dorm. We talk I get to know her a bit more, then we finish up and I need to figure out where to go next ( I never made a plan, nor told her what we would do) and gave her a choice between movie theater or movie at my place, touting my new surround sound system. She wants to go to my place. I live in an apartment style dorm (im a sophomore) and the room is small with a long twin bed, which I use as a couch of sorts. We ended up watching Tron, and then called it a night, I drove her to her place. Not bad, I told her she looked cute on the elevator down, drove her back and let her out of the car. Well I try to hang out again but she's busy. Whatever. One night I'm out at the clubs with my boys and she texts me and I ask if she wants to grab some food because I was hungry. Once again, she said she wasn't hungry, but was down to go anywhere with me. Didn't end up happening because I took a while. I tell her my friend is having a party and she should come, and she says yes, but the net day when I text to confirm she says she'll be shaving dinner with her cousin and will let me know when he's done. I text her at like 10, no response. I got pretty wasted that night, and ended up texting her "next time just be honest and say you dot want to hang out." I guess I was fed up with the annoyyance, but it was still a terrible move. My friend advises I abandon all hope, but a few days later I apologize for the text and she says she was a bit offended by it (wtf?) but it's okay. Halloween rolls around and I ask what she's doing, she says to come downtown and tells me she'll be at X bar. Alright. We text a bit and I get there, but she's at some party and it never goes through. A few more failed attempts at hanging out, and thanksgiving rolls around. She texts me out of the blue if I'm home, I say no I'm in another city I won't be home for thanksgiving. Then I go to another city with my boys for a Friday night. She texts me that she's at a party near my place and asks what I'm doing. I say I'm not there, she says text me tomorrow, when I get back. I do, twice, but no response. Ok I quit Im thinking. Then I'm studying in the library a week before finals and she comes up behind me and says hi. She hugs me and keeps her hand on my shoulder, playing with it in a flirty way the whole conversation. I keep my hand on her lower back (I'm sitting she's standing) we say let's hang out soon, I'm thinking alright that was solid kino she must be interested. Later that week finals roll around and I want some, so I text to hang out. She says okay then never responds. Now I give up. She then facebook messages me a day later saying "we're deff hanging out on Wednesday." I called my friend up, he tells me she's playing games and trying to put me under her thumb, and that she is making it so that she controls when anything happens. So I reply "lol we'll see" like 30 minutes later. I was exhausted and kind of broke, by the time I could hang out that night and told her all I had energy for was Netflix, she said she was down. So i pick her up and we went to the supermarket to grab some hot chocolate. We watch Scary Movie but I never really escalated before the movie or during because I was too tired ( I was kind of hoping she wouldn't want to hang out so I could go smoke with my friends after a long ass day). So that's been it, I've texted her once and gotten no response, she poked me on Facebook the next day, and commented on a status but I didn't reply. I normally wouldn't put much effort into this but since she is from back home and in college, she's kind of valuable since when class is out she's home and I'm home. Any advice on what I shouldve done and where I should take it from her?. Sorry for this being so long also.
