Getting the Mirena tomorrow - kind of nervous!
Almost a month ago, I had a consultation with my gynecologist, and we decided to schedule me for an IUD. Well, that insertion is tomorrow! I went into things knowledgeably, and she complimented me on how much research I had done, so we both know this is the right choice for me. I'm just starting to get a little nervous because it's so close; that's all.
So, any soothing pep talk or words of advice? I already know to pile on that motrin an hour beforehand, but I guess I'd just love to hear some reassuring things from other women who have been through this.
Thank you so much!
