Reddit, I need your help. Another banking disservice, but this time from a credit union!

So this is a long story but I don't know what else to do, other than ask for advice from you guys.

I bank with Fitzsimmons Federal Credit Union, it's a locally based credit union in Colorado. I recently made a wise investment (everything I had!) in some stocks and came out on top. My investment bank, Charles Schwab, sent me 4 checks, in varying amounts, for the total of about 18k. I went and deposited these checks into an ATM on Tuesday of last week. On Thursday night, the funds became available.

I made some purchases online and went to sleep. The next day, I went to use my card to find out that it was declined. I went online and checked my balance to see that my funds had been moved from my checking to my savings, and that both accounts had been frozen! I went into the branch to ask why, they informed me that my normal revolving balance was about $900, and thus the influx of money seemed fraudulent.

Fair enough, I thought. I asked what they required to clear up the confusion and was told that copies of the checks from Charles Schwab would be fine. The following Tuesday 12/26, I give them said copies. Now I find out that the case worker that was working my fraud case is on vacation and won't be back until 'Thursday or Friday'. I make a stink about this because I'm going on a trip on Friday and of course, need my money. They get in contact with her assistant, and her assistant tries to call CS to verify the funds. Being CS doesn't give any information about accounts over the phone, they denied her requests.

She took this as 'funds are not available' and then notated that on my account. I have called CS, my bank, various higher ups at the branch and made a huge, huge deal out of this with no results. I need to have my money by Friday, as of right now I am completely broke.

Reddit...... any advice is appreciated.
