Why hasn't any God mentioned the vastness and complexity of space, and the potential of mankind?

What always bugged me, if you mind me saying, was that in none of the ancient religions like the Abrahamic religions, the Hindu religions, and all the others, none of the so-called supernatural beings or prophets mentioned the nearly infinite number of stars, planets, and possibly, and almost certainly many other lifeforms. If any of these gods on Earth in the various religions were real, wouldn't they mention in the end times or their prophecies, however vague, for the future of humanity mention us colonizing the stars? What's the point of them, if they're just going to serve for an extremely wasteful backdrop to our perfect, human species?

Just wondering, thanks.
