Whiterun, lost belongings after jail. Need help

I went to jail, stripped of my belongings. I went through the dungeon, broke my only lockpick, and escaped from the barracks. Now I can't find the chest with my belongings.. I'm completely screwed because I didn't have save to go back to. Where can I find my belongings? Thanks.
