I'm on 5.0, should I upgrade to 5.0.1 and wait for a more stable untethered or stay in 5.0 until then?

I'm kinda afraid of leaving 5.0 for the new jailbreak, since I won't be able to go back and there seems to be issues with iBooks and some people are reporting it affected their batteries life.
My question is, is it safer to:

• Stay in 5.0 and wait for an untethered jailbreak for it (that may only work on it) or until a more stable version of the jailbreak for 5.0.1 is released (and risk apple releasing 5.0.2)
• or upgrade to 5.0.1 and wait for a new version of its jailbreak?
