Monitor has this blue "hue" to the right side?

Samsung S23A300B 23" LED, got my new monitor, using VGA at the moment until I get a DVI cable. The entire left side of my monitor has a blue glow that lightens all colours.

For example, I'm using a monitor test program to display a solid black colour full screen, and the right side has this "light" and emits a white hue, lightening the black significantly. The right side of my monitor also becomes warm within half an hour. Any help here, guys?
