TIL that the city of Detroit is going to have to file for bankruptcy...

I am from Canada and was watching Detroit news ....

the city of Detroit is going to file for bankruptcy protection. Then they switch to sports highlights showing millionaires playing basketball and hockey.

Isn't it about time that the players in all major sports, and the 4 major leagues do something? The players go on strike for more money all the time, the leagues have taxpayers pay portions for new stadiums/arenas...but once the city goes bankrupt, the teams and players will either cry for money down the road or just move on to other teams/cities.

Brutal.
