Why not a reddit SuperPAC?

I've been in Reddit politics for about a year now I guess. Done some reply's but... this is my first posting.

I see the posts about taking down a politician that is pro-SOPA, NDAA and whatnot. Our message sure seems focused and organized by comparison to the likes of Occupy and whatnot. I think we can be extremely effective political fighting force.

Instead of supporting a candidate per-say, be a threat to incumbents and other candidates. Basically with the advent of citizens united ruling, it has allowed corporations to hold themselves and their purse as a threat over politicians. "If you don't give us what we want then we will fund your opposition."

Let's be the counter threat to that. Choose high profile close campaigns, SuperPAC fund against them. Organize money bombs on an individual basis to do direct support candidates, SuperPAC against their opposition. Make a small modifiable list of what reddit SuperPAC targets.

  1. Those supporting SOPA.
  2. Those supporting NDAA.
  3. Those supporting PIPA.

It would be awesome to see a commercial slamming Paul Ryan followed by "This message brought to you by reddit."
