Best dorm for incoming freshman?

So I got accepted to UW for next fall (wahoo!) and now I'm starting to look into housing options. I know next to nothing about the residence halls so if anyone could give me an idea of what's what, that would be awesome! I don't think I want to live in the newer ones though, I've heard they are more expensive.. but anyways, thanks!
