My Galaxy Nexus lasted 12 days before it died

I used it in light rain once a few hours before, something i did with my DInc all the time for almost 2 years. Now, before you say I got it wet, understand that none of the wet indicators triggered, the phone didn't die immediately, and it was in my pocket the whole time.

after two days in rice and 20 minutes of blow drying at the highest temperature, i've given up. i think its dead. the chip that provides the screen, camera and gps power seems to have shorted out a bit, since it only provides half of the required power to everything, resulting in an unusable phone. my DInc, which i stopped using after it started randomly rebooting when it got even a tiny bit hot, got even worse when i tried to switch back to it.

im on a trip away from home for the next 6 days. its going to be tough to figure this all out. maybe verizon will still take the phone back if i bring it back before the 15th.

UPDATE: Took the phone back no problem :) wow Verizon doesn't check the phone before they restock it
