I hate the way Ableton's Pitch Shifting works on Vocal pieces, what can i do?

The subject says it all, i hate how it shifts pitches, ESPECIALLY on vocal samples. Are there VST's, or i don't know, anything that i can use for transposing vocal samples? I should probably clear up that i didn't mean the Pitch Shifter, i meant just transposing. Either with the sampler, or manually.
