May Sound Desperate but I have no friends

So what do I do? I'm 23 in Boston. I'm a little depressed that I don't have any friends other than my boyfriend, who's amazing I might add, but I need a little female love if you know what I mean...Anyway...what do I do without changing the nerdy, sarcastic and intelligent self that I am?
