Is Anarchist theory the next "Big Thing"?

More and more the political conversation is involving the concept of Anarchy. It is polarizing and not party specific. From the right's embrace of free market "Anarcho-Capitalism", to the horizontal, leaderless OWS movement. The tension regarding this development is likely to rise. How will the mainstream and powers-at-be react to this growing trend? Will it be used to fear monger? Will it effect American policy?
