Most likely getting the HD 598's and have a few questions.

After looking at the ATH m50's I noticed that the 598 were on sale for 170 at Amazon. I am most likely going to purchase these but am wondering if there is anything extra I need. Am I able to just plug it into the headphone jack on my computer and be good to go? Is an amp/video card necessary?
