Help - anyone know anything on "Kangen Water"? Need to debunk this quick

My mother (who lives on the opposite coast from me) is about to receive a high pressure sales pitch tomorrow for something called "Kangen Water". She says the sales lady mentioned something about a "nobel prize winner" being behind this. I did some googling, and all links lead to pro-kangen websites, including links for "kangen water scam". My alarm bells are going off...

As best as I can tell, it's an alkaline and/or ionizing water machine. I know these machines are very expensive, too expensive for my mom to really afford, and I think I have read in the past that alkaline water machines are a scam.

My mom is still recovering from a gastrointestinal problem (Helicobacter Pylori infection), and the sales lady has already assured her that this miracle water will cure her once and for all, and I think she is really vulnerable even though she promised me she wouldn't commit to anything tomorrow, because she is desperate to cure this, even though her doctor has told her there isn't much more that can be done (she went through an antibiotic course to kill it, but still suffers uncontrollable bouts of diarrhea). I need good links to literature debunking alkaline and ionizing water machines, and this so-called "kangen water" in specific. They seem to have done a good SEO job at plastering all search results with links that lead back to their sales web page, even when searching for anti-kangen material.

TL;DR: Mom is about to receive a high pressure sales pitch for alkaline water machine, thinks it will cure a gastrointestinal problem her doctor has told her has to run its course, all web searches for this have been SEO'd to pro/sales web sites.
