Inks

I'm curious: first, what is your favourite colour and brand of ink to use.

Second, I'm trying to find an ink that looks like dried blood, and I can't decide what ink to get, I have looked at Diamine Oxblood, Monaco, and Red Dragon, I think I like Oxblood and Red Dragon more, but I'm not sure which is truer to the colour of [dried] blood. I was curious what colour you would suggest, and what other brand/colour for my use you might suggest.

P.S. I'll probably mainly use it in a Lamy Al-Star with a 1.1 mm stub nib but maybe some some old Parker with an F nib or Lamy Al-Star with an F nib.
