Help me figure out a dipping sauce I had tonight...

I had dinner at a spanish/tapas restaurant tonight. They served this orange dipping sauce with the bread that was amazing. I don't know exactly what was in it, but it defiantly had a strong garlic taste and was a bit spicy. Anyone have any ideas what it was? It was amazing and I would love to make it myself.
