[SPOILERS] Fi, Midna and Navi = Triforce?

So I just finished Skyward Sword and it just sort of dawned on me that each of Link's companions (when he has one) seems to resemble a part of the Triforce. Midna is power, Fi is wisdom, and Navi is courage. Since link has really only had three major companions it seems to make sense. Am I the only one to notice this or am I completely making it up in my head?
