Which Item to Purchase?

I thought this post would be better suited for trade:

A steam friend is giving everyone on his list one free item, and he has just me left to gift, and I have a choice of the following:

Milkman Hat, The Hero's Tail, Troublemaker's Tossle Cap, Nametag, Strange Scattergun

Now, I don't trade much thus I don't know the value of the items, but my friend says they're roughly worth the same. Which one should I choose? The Milkman seems nice for the bonus if I ever use it for the set, but the hero's tail I have never seen before. The Tossle Cap is also quite cool, but low level'd (I don't know what levels represent) compared to the others.

The scattergun seems like a nice choice since it changes name with the increase in kills, but I also recently uncrated a festive scattergun.

Thanks!
