Hey r/Pugs. I did the greatest thing for our 2 pugs today. I had a groomer shave them.
Yes, you read right. They have about a 1/8" of fuzz left on them, but they don't really look any different just a little thinner. Now on the the best part! They feel velvet soft, just like when they were puppies and the groomer said that we won't see nearly as much shedding as long as we buzz them every 4-6 weeks. We have a white couch in our formal room and I never let them back there because one of the pugs is black, I let her up on the couch and she took a nap, an hour later NO HAIR LEFT ON THE COUCH!!! Has anyone else here done this? I wish I'd done it long ago.
