Reddit: There is a crying stray cat(not moving) in front of my house with what appears to have a broken bone.. What do I do? Please help.

My family and I have never had any pets so we don't know what to do. We don't want to try and bring it in because we're scared it might have disease or will bite. We've tried calling animal control and other places but they're all closed until tomorrow. Should we bring it in, or wait until the morning? Are there any other places to call? I'm on Long Island.
