bf3 FPS drops consistently to the point where i can't even play at all! reddit help!

Hey reddit! I've just received this problem recently where in all the maps my FPS drops tremendously, and then for a brief second jump back up to 70 fps, then back to 1 fps. this problem is really annoying me.

Specs: 8 gb ram gtx 570 MSI twin frozr3 i5 2500k @ 3.4ghz (or whatever stock speed it is at) asrock extreme4 gen3 z68 mobo

any of you guys ever had this problem yet and you guys have any suggestions to what the problem is and how to fix it?
