How do I boardslide?

I'm having a lot of trouble. Can someone write me some instructions to work into it? I am not ballsy enough to go straight at it.

Right now I can 50-50 pretty much anything, and get all of it. I have front and back 180's off the rail proficiently, too. Is a boardslide even the next logical step?
