Why can't states chose to be socialist, libertarian, or in between? No one side is right and all will concede some.

Socialists, libertarians, and moderates will never fully agree on a federal government, so why not leave it up to the states?

If you don't like where you are you have the right to move. No one is morally or intellectually perfect, so why not just let people in their own state decide the best way to rebuild?
