So much hate for our state.

i have been perusing this thread for the past few minutes and have come across 3 (i think) posts about mississippi. i absolutely support your right to say whatever you want, and maybe you really do just hate mississippi, but i feel like... maybe we should try to change the public's perspective of our state as this ass-backwards group of racist idiots?

am i being overly sensitive? am i being silly? i have no idea. enlighten me. if you agree.... what can be done?
