Help me Reddit! I bricked my Kindle Fire. I acknowledge I'm a dumb ass, but I really need help. :(

Alright, so here's the situation. I love my Kindle Fire, but like many, I hate the carousel. So I heard about using Go Launcher to fix that problem. I downloaded the APK file to my KF and installed it. Then my KF froze. I started freaking out. I restarted it and made it to the unlock screen, I was given the option to boot with GoLauncher or Amazon Launcher, but it wouldn't let me choose either option. Then the screen just goes black and stays that way.

The only other information I can give you is when I restart and the Kindle Fire logo pops up, it disappears really quickly and then reappears. It does this a couple times, then it does its usual animation with the sheen or whatever. Then the lock screen, then the option again but won't let me choose anything.

I have a Macbook Pro, and it will still let me connect via USB. I just have no idea how to fix it. I tried using a tutorial but I couldn't figure anything out. I've never rooted anything before and don't even know where to begin.

I know I'm an incompetent idiot who shouldn't have messed with something I didn't fully understand.
