Finished a track....but doesn't sound professional (help with mixdown)

So I finished putting together my first prog house track. I've been messing around for the past week with the levels in Live but haven't been able to get it sounding good. For example, the kicks and snares are weak. The synths sound really stocky. I have been messing around with EQs and compression by looking up what to do, but I am basically just shooting in the dark.

If anyone here could help me out I'd really appreciate it.
