What advice do you have for someone just starting out in web development?

I'm just starting out with web design and development. I haven't gone to classes, but have learned through ebooks and videos. I know "somewhat" html, css, javascript/jquery, ok with php and mysql and photoshop. Any advice you wish was given to you when you were starting out?
