[Build Help] First build. Not sure if I need this much power.

Hey guys first time builder here. Have been watching friends build PC's for years but never tried it myself and I want to give it a go. The reason I do not have a Video card or PSU listed is because I have a PNY GTX 560 and a Coolermaster SilentProM 600W PSU in hand already. I have a few questions for you guys before I finalize this.

  1. Do I need a 2500k if I don't plan on overclocking? Because I don't know the first thing about it.

  2. Do I need the big aftermarket cooler for the CPU if I don't plan on overclocking it?

  3. I understand that the sandy bridge is the best CPU on the market for Gaming atm but if I am not a big overclocker do you think I should save money and go AMD? My current PC is AMD and I have no complaints about it. I just see everyone and their mother raving about the 2500k and figured I'd give that a try.
