Needing to be strong, yet degraded by parents.
My girlfriend needs to focus on school for the next couple weeks so she can pass her classes with a B or higher. Winter Break ends on the 9th, I don't get to see her at all this break, and when we get back to school she'll be busy studying and trying to get her grades back up to an A or B so her mom doesn't bitch her out. So, in order to do this, she asked for a small break. Not a break to see other people, just a break so we can both focus on school partially away from each other. This just means we can't fool around at lunch or after school anymore, that we HAVE to study. Either we don't hang out at those times till Wednesday the 18th, or if we do we have to keep our hormones in check. I'm completely fine with this, and I understand. I'm going through some emotional phases from being doing this for so long but I know that it's going to all be fine in the end. Currently, I am trying to focus on all this extra credit I have, and not paying attention to the constant temptation of sneaking over to her house for some alone time. That's hard enough as it is, but the real problem is my parents. My parents are moving in a year or so because of better job opportunity or whatever, and they want me to go. The only issue is, is that I don't want to leave my hometown just yet even if it's a shithole, and I'm definitely not leaving my girlfriend unless we break-up or some bull shit like that. (I have my freedom of choosing, cause I will be 18 before the move) My issue is, is that I can't stay strong for my girlfriend or focus on school when my parents are coming into my room to try to persuade me to go with them, or shit talking me when I tell them I'm staying... If you guys want to, I'd love to hear some advice for this. If not, that's okay too.
tl;dr I am having issues focusing on keeping my emotions stable and my grades okay because of my parents who are trying to guilt trip me into moving halfway across the country with them.
