My girlfriend is amazing.

I (24m) recently started dating someone (21f). I'd been single just shy of a year before I met her.

She is my first emotional relationship (had a few others that, despite my desire to have an emotional relationship were just casual and sexual) after a 5+ year long relationship that failed miserably.

I was extremely open with her about the whole situation, about my feelings on wanting an emotional relationship.

Things have moved really fast, I think. But I really don't think it's a problem. We both communicate openly about whats on our minds. I feel so connected with her, so close to her, and honestly so... in love with her.

She accepts me for who I am.

I know we haven't been together for long, but I know what I want in a woman, and she's it. Everything she does makes me feel so fortunate to be with her. I was having an awful day today, and she showed up at my place out of the blue to give me a hug and just be with me for a little while.

I never thought I would ever feel this way about anyone again. I never thought I would be so in love with someone.

Gods, I love her.
