Taking hydrocodone 10's for the come down?

So, I'm going to be doing coke for the first time on New Year's Eve and I hear the come down sucks. Would it be O.K. to take some hydros for the come down? I've been messing with pain pills for 2-3 years now, so I'm not a stranger to them. If anyone has experience taking hydros when coming down off of coke, can you please enlighten me?

Also, what about taking hydros when coming down from ecstasy?
