Soooo reddit, I think I just got Skyrim for free, or Steam is trolling me.(First Post)

So I just recently bought Skyrim off steam during the 33% off deal, my bank account(schoolsfirst) showed that it was processing the $40, and was deducted from my available amount. I live paycheck to paycheck like the broke college student I am, so im constantly checking my bank balance. I had about $6. I rented a movie, checked my balance and LO AND BEHOLD I see $44 in my account, with no trace as to where it came from, only thing i see is that the $40 charge for skyrim completely dissapeared. Soooo what does reddit think happened? Glitch, or lucky day?
