New cartridge for onkyo cp-1036a

So I'm relatively new to vinyl. Been collecting for a few months now and my mom gave me her old oknyo turntable. While I probably should have done this earlier it's better late than never. I'm looking to replace some of the older parts and what not so I figure getting a whole new cartridge will help me better in the long run than just a new needle. I'm pretty lost though and looking for suggestions. Anything helps.
