I Need some advice.

I am suffering from a flare up at the moment and need some advice. I was diagnosed when I was 8 and since then I've had a flare up every year, sometimes twice. My longest, most painful moments were around 2006-2007 where I spend around 6 months with pain, diarrhoea and all the other usuals.

Im flaring up right now and usually I can handle the symtoms but lately I've been struggling with the pain, lack of sleep. I haven't had a good night sleep in over a month and its starting to show (my spelling and grammar) Im on steroids (pretnozine) 50mg daily for 7 days dropping down to 37.5, 25, 20, 15, 10 then off and immunosuppressants 2g's daily.

I need help with the pain! What have you done to stop the pain.
