DOE think that giants were kind of a wasted opportunity?
They just seem really shallow and meaningless. I want:
- More lore.
- Different kinds of giants:
- Tundrastrider - Just your friendly neighborhood giant.
- Yetti Giant - Ultra aggressive, fast, and strong. Like a super-ultra trolls. They role solo at all times and attack other giants. They can take out 3 Tundrastriders on average. Not to be reckoned with, also, fairly rare and can only be found in forests. Possible lore? Maybe they are evil crossbred giant/troll abominations banished from the hunting grounds of Hercine out of fear of them, or as punishment to them.
- Frost Giant - Passive, high frost resistance, high physical damage resistance, high health, beasts. For some reason, wolves and bears go to great length to protect the frost giants. They are usually found north, where there is often snow on the ground. Possible lore? Maybe they were a large group of giants that were driven out by their brethren (at the time) and they had to adapt to the harsh conditions of the north. Although they kept some mammoths, they came to tame the frost trolls who guard the frost giants in large packs.
- Mountain Giants - Ultra passive, super strong, super tough giants that are 100% resistant to stagger of all possible kinds. They are twice as large as the average tudrastrider however they are three times as powerful. They deal three times the damage, have three times the armor, have three times the health, and are three times as fast when sprinting. They hang around solo and, due to an ancient bond with the dwarves, are much, much smarter than the average tundrastrider, often having a basic understanding of the dragon tongue and a strong bond with the dov. They will ignore you even if you hit them. This tolerance lasts up until you take about 2% of their health.
- NPC giants with quest lines.
- Befriending small tribes of NPC giants.
I don't know. I got really carried away with this and just had a giant variation brain dump. Whatever.
