What the FUCK happened to the history channel?!

I'm stuck in a hotel right now and the only thing I can find to watch is "Ancient Aliens and the Third Reich" or something like that. I realize the meme existed of this, but COME ON, the history channel used to actually play shit that pertained to REAL history, not this or "AX MEN" which I just saw a commercial for. So what happened?
