Evangelical Atheism`

[This is my first post to Reddit, so forgive me if I've made a huge mistake.]

Recently I've had the inkling to go out and practice evangelical atheism. Not just a simple, "Hey, have you considered the universe lately?" I speak of a full-on charismatic street preacher type of presentation, played for comedy. I have something of a flair for the dramatic, and with the right writing and delivery, I think I could make a few people laugh, annoy a few more, and maybe get people talking.

Obviously this sort of approach wouldn't deconvert anyone outright, but it might help inject a little humor and perspective into the situation for the people who are struggling.

You might even get it to be more constructive with a team around, handing out pamphlets and flyers, answering any questions that loudmouth preacher person doesn't get around to.

It's still obviously a work-in-progress, but what do you think? Any ideas to make the concept better? Any arguments or philosophical things I should be made aware of if I do actually follow through with this?

Also, thanks, r/atheism, for providing me with treatment for my spiritual malaise while I live in "the second most conservative town in the United States".
