Friends, newcomers, life without porn has been much more interesting and fulfilling. Let me share with you my new-found joy.
I have been thinking that if you've been looking at porn for about 30 minutes a day, you spend more or less a hundred and eighty-two hours a year.
182 hours that could have been spent...
- learning a new language
OR
- working out
OR
- travelling/backpacking
OR
- reading that book you've wondered about for a while
OR
- having adventures with your friends, be it online or offline
The possibilities are endless and the potential to enrich your life is abundant. And I'm only in the starting phase of this lifestyle.
Giving up porn may have been the best thing I've done for myself, bar none.
I was happy with the placebo effects of no-fap in the beginning (i.e. sexual magnetism and added self-confidence) but even that seemed to wane after a while until I didn't notice it much at all. However, the fact that I had now more time to explore new avenues of living, plus the motivation to do so, far outweighs my sedentary life in a dark room, addicted to Japanese porn.
