  1. Have owned this drive for a couple months now so I am still including it in the price. The drive is cross-flashed from an iHAS224 to an iHAS624

  2. Instant discounts are the "$40 for $20" Google Newegg Offer, and a $20 off entire order for SuperBiiz

  3. EBATES (Yes that is my referral link, here is a non referral link if you all prefer ) gives back a certain percentage of your purchase if you select the store through their site, 2.6%-4.0% for Newegg and 1% for SuperBiiz. Great thing about the site is they take the Sub-Total of the order before discount as your cash-back qualifier. For Newegg I am receiving $11.47 back and for SuperBiiz $8.85 plus the $5 sign up bonus I received as well. $25.32 back in total just from that so I am happy.

FYI: Priceblink is your friend when shopping online, but do not solely rely on it or PCPP, use Google as well and actually look at the different sites to see whats offered as sometimes PB, PCPP, and Google are off.

CPU Cooler: Went with the XSPC Rasa kit rather than by the LCS version of the case I ordered as we all know Thermaltakes WC kits are rubbish. IMO this will be better than one of the Corsair solutions as it will allow me to expand as well as have a better WC system overall without putting a lot of money into a full custom loop.

MB: I know this sub LOVES the AsRock boards (Not saying they are bad boards) but there were multiple reasons I went with the Asus instead. First the popular Extreme3 did not have USB 3.0 Internal Headers, looked at the Extreme4 but at $184 I wanted to see my other options, at first I was really liking the GENE-Z as it was cheaper and had more features but then the price dropped on the GTX 570 cards and mATX went out the window. Opted for the V-Pro over the Extreme 4 as from the many reviews I have read it seems this board overclocks better and has a much better UEFI implementation. When I purchased yesterday the Egg had it for $209.99 and SB at $204, woke up today to see it going for $199, but I'm not mad over $5.

RAM: Since someone will ask about "Some Guy" I was late on the Black Friday deal on Newegg and found a guy on ebay who lived in my city reselling the exact RAM, offered him $30 and if I could pick it up, told me he ordered a bunch and he would break even but he agreed on $30.

SSD: I know OCZ has a "bad" rep around these parts, but given my experience with a couple of my friends who own their products and have not had any issues, I'm willing to chance it.

HDD: Have had this drive for ~3+ years now, still under its original 5 year warranty and still working fine so I will re-purpose it in this build.

GPU's Was originally going to do 560 Ti 448's, but at the prices I found these 570's for I jumped on it, I was considering SLi later, but knowing me if I did not jump on both now i would never get the second card.

CASE: Shoot me, I know this case is overpriced, but I love this case, the design, the features, Thermaltake may make some shit WC products but their cases have always been very well designed (IMO), loved my friends Kandalf LCS, I myself am not a fan of their LCS systems, but the build quality and integration of that case is beautiful. If anyone else decides on this case please do yourself a favor and do not buy the LCS version, get the standard and purchase a nice XSPC kit, Corsair H series, or even custom loop.

PSU: AX850 for $159 was a good deal IMO, especially since it is a re-branded Seasonic X series.

I will be receiving my parts within the next couple of days, but will have to wait a little while for the CPU :( as I ordered right at the end of the Holiday Deal (Order 904xxx) and they said they are waiting on more supply. As soon as I receive it and ensure everything is in working order I will have pictures up and will run benchmarks as requested.

NINJA EDIT: I know this is not build complete, but I am a bit excited as some of you can imagine. EDIT 2: Thanks to those who gave input on my MB predicament a couple days ago.
