Any tips for a good accessible fireworks viewing point Waverton/Wollstonecraft area?

We would normally head down to the rocks at Balls Head and sit and watch the fireworks. But my parents are visiting and mum won't be up to clambering over rocks. Can anyone recommend a decent spot that's more easily accessible, (preferably where you don't have to get there at midday for a good view, although I realize that's possibly impossible, as everywhere fills up quickly!)
