How is it possible for the churches & other religious organisations to have BILLBOARDS and ADS??

How come they can advertise and occupy public space just as other organisations for profit (corps. companies etc.) without TAXATION on their behalf?

This gives them economical advantage of informational coverage which seems rather unfair!

Think about it: the main profit of broadcasting corporations is from advertising and advertising + marketing constitutes a great deal of the running costs of any organisation, be it for profit or not.

If a distinction should be made between for-profit and not-for profit orgs, then the same distinction should be made for the public space: This space is for-profit advertisement orgs, and that space is for public announcement (a.k.a. state propaganda or something else). Or the public space for advertising should be more expensive for those that are not being taxed!

Otherwise those that are taxed less, should be expected to have an advertising space advantage! Talk about fair game eh?
