Who has the cheapest highspeed (FIOS Fast) Internet?
To clarify Reddit, my family spends about $300+ a month for TV, low end FIOS (15/5 I believe), home phone, and 2 smart phones, 1 dumb phone. We have DVR and 1 extra set top box for the basement. Looking to cut down on our monthly bill. We have already discussed cutting the DVR, if we can get cheap tv over the internet (all basic FIOS channels, my mom watches a lot of NCIS, CSI, etc type shows, my dad watches Wealth Channel, Food Channel, News [most major broadcasters],etc. so we would need most of the basic channels, maybe a few extra) as well as eliminating one smart phone (my dad doesnt understand how to use it, so why have it?).
If we get TV over the internet, I'd assume we would have to upgrade our internet so 2 people could watch TV and I could browse Reddit, netflix, etc.
Any Redditors know how we can cut costs? mainly on the TV, Phone, Internet side. We can cut TV out, but its cheaper to get phone and internet through verizon than it is to get internet and drop phone (wtf?).
