Squeaking capacitor in mouse. What's the best way to insulate the sound? Are hot glue or epoxy safe?
I won a promotional mouse, so I can't return it or exchange it. I like this mouse other than a squeal that starts as soon as it is not moving.
I read that people can replace the capacitor, but I would rather try something easy first. I would like to muffle the sound or interfere with its acoustics. I was thinking hot glue or epoxy.
Is it safe to encase a tantalum 0.1uF 6.3V capacitor?
