I don't want to lose weight but I've got some sagging going on
I have read some posts on here regarding moobs but wanted to know if anyone had anything new to add. My problem is this:
I am 5'11', 83kg (183 pounds). I've been pretty healthy my whole life. I am hyper-active and can eat shit loads and burn it off without doing a whole lot. I have spent the last 23 years playing sport quite competitively. Over the years, by body fat has changed like this:
Age - %; 19 - 5.5%; 22 - 7%; 26 - 10%; 30 - 15%; 32 - 25%
Apparently I am clinically obese now! This latest measurement was taken over my clothes with those calipers so I'm not convinced it is accurate. I reckon I am 18-20%. You can still see abs and decent muscle definition. The only problem is I have flab in the chest and bicep area. The photos attached are taken after a workout and it was hard to get the right angle with my arm raised holding the camera. The moobs are getting progressively worse and I need to stop the trend now.
(no idea what that crap is on the mirror. I'd rather not know!)
Due to being surrounded by bros when I started lifting in high school, I benched way too much weight for a long time. I eventually wised up and began working on all areas of my body. I then got married and had kids, and everything turned to shit, relatively speaking. Now I find myself age 32 with two young kids. I worked a full day and by the time I have put the kids to bed and eaten dinner, I have about an hour to spend with the wife before bed time. The only time I have to work out is during my 1 hour lunch breaks from work. Currently I go to the gym 3 times for 35 minutes, which is about what is left of an hour once I take out driving to the gym, changing and showering after. I currently do one cardio session and 2 weights. I usually play sport for a total of 10 hours per week but that's gone out the window this year with a new born baby. Regarding diet, I am a vegetarian and I eat brown bread/rice. I go through stages of drinking a glass of wine every evening, and others when I don't touch the stuff for weeks on end. Is moderate drinking a no-no?
The question I have is this: how should I best spend the little gym time I have during the week? Should I be doing more cardio or weights? Besides incline press, what other exercises can you recommend that are going to help me not get too big in the chest again?
Thanks everyone
