Help! Weird smell coming from power supply.

I just finished building my pc a few days ago and today i noticed a weird smell coming from my computer after leaving it on a bunch of hours. I checked my temps and everything looked fine so i checked inside the comp trying to figure out where the source of the smell is coming from.

The smell is strongest from the power supply. Its a weird smell like some type of chemical/rubber burning. theres also a small amount of some type of white goo/melted paste inside the psu (i see it from the back of my case looking into the psu) Not sure if that should be there. Anyone got any ideas?

Oh yeah, my psu is a Modxstream Pro 600w modular ATX
